Irreplaceable?

Sometimes deception and crooked politics are almost too obvious. And sometimes it just gets overlooked. Take the following, for example.

According to National Review magaizine in an article called "Replacing Michelle", it states that some employees are simply irreplaceable. And Michelle Obama was supposedly one of those.

The University of Chicago Medical center hired her in 2002 to run "programs for community relations, neighborhood outreach, volunteer recruitment, staff diversity and minority contracting". But in 2005 when after her husband had become a U.S. Senator, the hospital raised her salary from $120,000 to $317,000 - nearly twice what her husband made as a Senator.

Not only was her salary increased by nearly 200%, but her now Senator husband requested a $1,000,000 earmark for the UC Medical Center that employed Michelle.

Way to network Michelle!

But now that Mrs Obama has resigned, the hospital says her position will remain unfilled. How can that be, if the work she did was vital enough to be worth $317,000?

We can think of only one explanation - typical Chicago politics.
