You have seen those shows where a woman, in the process of delivering a baby that she has wanted and waited for over the last 9 months suddenly, in pain, screams at her husband, "You did this to me! I hate you!". But after it is over, she adores her baby and her husband.
Well, if the Virginia bill passes which allows a mother, at that painful point of giving birth, to change her mind about having the baby - second thoughts or "cold feet" - it could result in the murder of a living person on a fleeting whim of the moment. And that does not just result in the murder of the baby - it will totally destroy the lives of the entire family as the reality of what she has done comes home to roost.
People say and do things in the heat of passion, anger or pain that they almost always regret. No law should make it easy to do such things.
Furthermore, the VA bill allows the baby to be murdered EVEN AFTER birth. That is a violation of the Constitution as well as a violation of humanity. Once a baby is born, it is a PERSON, and has the same rights as any other person. Anyone - I don't care WHO it is - anyone who contributes to such an act should be imprisoned for murder and/or accessory to murder, and that would include any governor or legislator that makes such an act possible.

The REAL Deal On Dems & "The Wall"
Make no mistake about it - the Democrats in Congress do not really care if there is a wall or not, because they win either way.
I believe there is a better than good chance that Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer had a conversation with their fellow Democrats that went something like this:
"No matter what else we do or do not do, we absolutely cannot vote for ANY wall funding, even if you think a wall is needed. Here's why - to fund even $1.00 for a wall, we anger the far-left base that we need, and we also make Trump a winner, and help ensure his re-election. On the other hand, Trump would then be forced to either give up on the wall (and lose in 2020) OR declare a national emergency that we could use as a club to beat him over the head with as a dictator. In any scenario, whether the wall is built or not, we win! We do not cave in to funding it, but it gets built, anyway. America is safer. And while Trump pleases his base, gets heat for it among independents and the media would burn him at the stake."
Pelosi is clever. At least as clever as I. And if I were in her shoes that is what I would do. So I'm pretty sure this closely mirrors any conversation she had with her people.
Pelosi's "Achilles Heel" - she is counting on Republicans being unable to message very well, as that is their short suit to date. If Republicans - and Trump - can start messaging better, and put their message out in a way that voters actually understand, or even pay attention to, this entire ordeal could backfire on the Democrats. They need to stop stating facts and begin telling story lines, like the Democrats do (remember pushing Grandma over the cliff? And people STILL remember that, don't they?). Republicans need to stop being so analytical (which begins with ANAL), and more creative.
If you do not explain something in a way that teaches by way of entertainment, people won't pay enough attention to learn. Jesus knew that, and used parables to teach. Aesop knew it, and used fables.
If you want to teach a person anything, you must first gain and keep their attention by being entertaining, and then use the story to make the point clear. That is why we use entertaining stories like "The Little Engine That Could" to teach little children important life lessons. It was even the reason that old west "snake oil" salesmen always started their little show with a dancing girl, or storytelling.
Here's an idea for Republicans: create a cartoon of the story of "The Little Red Hen" with two different endings. The first ending would be just like the book. The instant replay would offer a second ending where the farmer takes her pies away and divides them among all the other animals that did nothing to help her. Which results in her becoming like those others and not planting a garden next year at all - what would be the point? No garden, no more pies.
Now THAT would catch a person's attention, and teach socialism vs capitalism in a way that people can visualize and understand.
Just sayin'...

Progressive Liberalism - Domestic Terrorism?
"It's A Good Life"
Twilight Zone, episode 73, 1961
Makes George Orwell's "1984" look like a Sunday picnic - and it is coming true before our eyes.
It's a nightmare scenario about an entire community that has been taken over by a brat who is a narcissistic and sociopathic monster with no conscience. Anyone who thinks, says or does anything he does not like would result in being "sent to the cornfield," apparently a living death. We know at some point he will be the only one left in an empty world. The other characters live in fear every moment. To survive they have to placate the brat by saying "That was a good thing you did. A real good thing." Failure to placate him would result in a punishment so dire as to be incomprehensible - like turning his own father (John Larch) into a Jack-In-The-Box.
His power to control everyone through his childish whims is an excellent allegory of the power of any dictator. It's enough to make Kim Jung Un, tyrant of North Korea, swoon with envy.
The monster brat says, "I hate anybody who doesn't like me". Sound familiar?
The lack of wisdom of a child with great power is, indeed scary. To see something so scary now reflected in real life is beyond scary.
Compare this "monster" child, with his power and tyranny over adults, to the progressive liberal view of the world of today, and how they punish anyone who says, does, or believes in things they don't like and you will find the comparison is truly frightening - George Orwell's "1984" on steroids.
Wear a MAGA hat and you are castrated in social media and your life threatened with being "thrown head first into a wood-chipper". Use actual pronouns like "he" or "she" and you can become little more than fodder for the rabid media who propagate such things. Stand up as a conservative and face endless investigations and threats. And if someone is "imperfect" in the eyes of progressives, they are undeserving of any respect - look at what they are doing to Christopher Columbus and Thomas Jefferson (they already got rid of Washington's and Lincoln's birthday on the calendar). And if you do not bow down and pay homage to the LBGTQ "community", or the #METOO movement, or man-hating feminist groups and Planned Parenthood, you will be boycotted, isolated and shunned by being banned from Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, and you can lose your job, your family - everything. You will be eviscerated by the left, and labeled as racist, homophobic, mysogynistic or any other derogatory term they decide is befitting of anyone who disagrees with them. They use fear to deprive you of your right to free speech, your right to practice your religion in whatever way you feel is necessary and appropriate, your right to due process and any other God-given right guaranteed in the Constitution.
And through it all, the rest of us - normal, God-fearing, patriotic Americans have become John Larch, "quaking in fear" of these tyrannical, childish haters.
That little boy in the "cornfield" episode is a terrorist. And so are those in the real world who act in much the same way, punishing all who think differently, or say things the left does not like. Anyone who does not see the similarity is either blind or is one of those "monster brats".
Frankly, this post doesn't go anywhere near far enough in depicting progressive liberals as real monsters, but my upbringing does not permit me to take it to level in which they belong.
In any case, they certainly fit the definition of fascist domestic terrorists, and that includes the media that aides and abets them.

Yes, the Bible DOES Claim a Wall Around Heaven
This really needs to be cleared up, as folks on both sides are trying to make less than accurate statements about whether or not there is a wall around Heaven. Christians say that Heaven does (i.e. currently) have a wall, which may or may not be true. Deniers state that the Bible says nothing of the kind; that the wall is around Jerusalem. Also incorrect.
So, here are the chapters/verses in the Bible that speak of it. Bear in mind, these are taken from Revelations, and it speaks of the NEW Heaven, built upon the NEW Earth, and the "new Jerusalem" would be the Holy City where God resides...
Revelation 21: Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.
[2] I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.
[3] And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them.
[15] The angel who talked with me had a measuring rod of gold to measure the city, its gates and its walls.
[16] The city was laid out like a square, as long as it was wide. He measured the city with the rod and found it to be 12,000 stadia in length, and as wide and high as it is long.
[17] The angel measured the wall using human measurement, and it was 144 cubits thick (Editor - about 22 feet).
22:14 “Blessed are those who wash their robes, (Editor - cleanse themselves of sin) that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city.
[15] Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.
It is obvious that the New Heaven will have a wall for the purpose of keeping out those who do not earn their passage through the gates

The Government Owes You a LOT of Money
Here's a little known fact that the federal government really does not want you to know - by law, all government agencies must pay market rents for their federal facilities, paid into the Federal Buildings Fund. All 9600 of them, including the DOJ, the Treasury and every property under government control. And in 2019, those combined rents total $11.1 BILLION.
Now think about that - these rents are for properties owned by We, the People. We are the "government of, by and for" the people. We own everything the government controls. That technically makes us the landlord. And the last time I looked, the landlord is supposed to get the rent, and not some government run fund. Did you get YOUR rent check from the EPA this month? Or the F.B.I.?
If we are not getting the rent from our properties, who is?
All that money gets paid to a variety of REIT's - Real Estate Investment Trusts. And much of it is then paid out as dividends to the people who invest in those trusts. In other words, if you buy into the trusts, you can get a share. And the rest of us "landlords" get nothing. It's a rigged game. And, as usual, it's rigged against the "little guy". REIT investors get not only their share of the rents, but your share, as well.
Worse yet - those rents are paid out from TAXPAYER money! Our taxes are given to the agencies to build the buildings, run them, maintain them and ultimately used to pay the rent to those select few who are invested in REITS.
Imagine for a moment that you own a property on Main Street. You PAY the tenant to live there. He then pays the rent from the money you gave him to some "trust", and those funds are distributed as dividends to investors in that trust. And you get nothing. Not only do you get nothing, it was YOUR money that PAID the rent on YOUR OWN PROPERTY!
That doesn't make you a landlord - it makes you a sucker.
Frankly, those rents belong to ALL American citizens, regardless of our ability to pay for a place on the "dividend distribution list". Landlords should not have to pay for the privilege of collecting rents on the properties they own, and if they don't pay they cannot collect any rent.
It is a shifty, shady redistribution of our taxes, taken from millions of little guys and paid to a handful of big guys.
So, now you are one of the few who know what is going on.
