OK, so the founder of Home Depot says he will donate to the Trump campaign. Naturally, the far-left trolls on Twitter don't like that, so they want to boycott Home Depot.
After I stopped laughing, I thought I would pass on a bit of reality - most of Home Depot's customers are tradesmen. And the vast majority of tradesmen are conservatives, not progressives. Furthemore, the tradespersons are long time customers, and like most SANE people, won't boycott any company simply because of the personal politics of the owner(s).
After all, if the lefties want to keep playing that stupid game, Republicans could put liberal businesses like Ben & Jerry's out of business. And then Ben & Jerry would not be able to fund the causes that progressives adore.
It is worthy of note that over 95% of all "boycotts" are started by far-left progressives who make their living by complaining and finding fault. While conservatives generally work to build people up, progressives work tirelessly to tear people down. For them, it's a matter of having power over others.
As for myself - well, I have been to Home Depot at least once per day, every day this year. And for those of us in the trades, that's fairly normal.
If there is any effect of a boycott of Home Depot it will likely result in a BOOST to their business.
After all, that was the result of the boycott of Chick-Fil-A and Hobby Lobby...

Democrats and Deportation
Have you noticed? Whenever liberals disagree with anything conservatives do - even if it is the law - they take it to court and have some activist judge overturn it. They then say that we have to listen to and abide by the court.
But not so much when the court actually rules IN FAVOR of the law.
Illegal immigrants are required to go to a court hearing to determine their eligibility for asylum. That is the law. And if the court determines they are not eligible, the court ORDERS law enforcement to deport them. That, too, is the law. But when the Trump administration attempts to follow the law and the order of the court, liberals are "outraged" and accuse him of being inhumane. They say the law - and the court - must be ignored!
That is the real issue here - that liberals tend to be duplicitous and disingenuous. They only care about the law when it benefits them. Otherwise, they simply choose to ignore - even flaunt - the law. Sanctuary cities. Illegal immigration. Deportation. Detaining illegal immigrants.
They do the same with gun control. Even when a state law prevents localities from passing gun laws more strict than the state law, they ignore the state law and pass their own, anyway. They ignore Heller vs Washington DC.
More to the point, they ignore the Constitution, whether it is free speech; freedom to worship wherever, whenever and however; or the right to bear arms. And as we saw in the Kavanaugh hearing, they even ignored the presumption of innocence until proved guilty. All those things that make America great - liberals are against it.
So it comes as no surprise to any intelligent, sane person that liberals now want law enforcement to ignore the courts when it comes to deportations. And while we have come to expect this sort of thing from them, it is disconcerting that they believe they have the right to do whatever they wish, regardless of the law. Corey Booker's Insane Plan For Gun Owners
Democratic presidential candidate Cory Booker says he plans to curb gun violence by creating a national license requirement for all firearm owners, which
would include an interview and mandatory completion of safety training.
Apparently this far-left radical moron has never bothered to read the Constitution. Like the part that states unequivocally that "the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."
Any educated person knows that a God-given RIGHT is not a privilege. A privilege can be licensed, regulated, given or taken at will. A RIGHT cannot. Whenever you license or have other requirements for a right, it ceases to be a right and becomes a mere privilege. Imagine if the government were to believe they could require a license to practice religion, or to vote (actually, many states did have a Poll Tax, taxing citizens so they could vote, but the Supreme Court declared them unConstitutional).
Couple the fact that keeping and bearing (carrying) arms is a right and not a privilege, the second part of the above phrase comes into play - being that it is a right, the framers of the Constitution made it doubly clear that it is a right and not a privilege by adding the phrase "shall not be infringed." In other words, government can do nothing to prevent the people from keeping or bearing arms, and can not interfere (i.e. imposing requirements) in them doing so.
Anyone who has doubts only need to look up the definitions for RIGHTS and INFRINGE.
Which brings us to a salient point: Corey Booker is not fit for any elective office, let alone the presidency. A requirement of such office is to swear under oath "...to the best of his ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."
Booker is not doing so. Nor are most of his 2020 contemporaries, nor most Congressional Democrats.

Why AG Bill Barr Is Under Attack
If you are up on the news, you have noticed that Democrats are attacking Attorney General Bill Barr, his honesty and his credibility. They accuse him of lying and demand his resignation.
A reasonable, sane person would ask why, since Mr Barr's history over several decades of public service shows him to be a man of great integrity.
The problem lies, again, in Trump Derangement Syndrome - an inability of many Democrats to accept any truth or facts that show that they are wrong. They used to claim that Bob Mueller was an honest broker of great integrity, and spent two years threatening Republicans to not interfere with his investigation; that he would arrive at the truth. Hid did - but it was not the truth they wanted, so now they have turned on Mueller. They are doing the same with Bill Barr. But why him? Why aren't they simply trying to discredit Mueller's report instead of attempting to shoot the messenger?
If you understand the mindset of Democrats, the answer to that is obvious - AG William Barr is the one in a position to do great damage to the Democrat's "deep state" operation. He has publicly testified that he intends to look into Hillary's collusion with Russia, and into the deep state antics of the likes of Comey, Strzok and McCabe. He may even look into the corruption of former AG Lynch and her collusion with the Clinton machine. He intends to look into the FISA court hearing that allowed spying on the Trump administration, and to hold people accountable for their illegal actions. In short, it looks like AG Barr intends to actually do his job, unlike several predecessors. And NOTHING frightens the Democrat Corruption Machine more than having an AG do his job well, and look into their illegal schemes.
Coincidentally, that is pretty much the same reason they suffer Trump Derangement - Trump said from the get-go that he intended to "drain the swamp", and Democrats (and many Republicans, as well) have too much to lose if the swamp gets drained. They are running scared, and rightfully so.
If the Democrats are to survive the carnage they are susceptible to, they NEED to get rid of Bill Barr, or at least discredit him in the eyes of the people.
But I suspect they will fail. And then maybe, just maybe America really can be Great Again.

Democrats Have Not Even READ the Mueller Report
All the hype; all the political theatre; all the partisan BS - and not a single Democrat in Washington has even read the Mueller Report!
The un-redacted Mueller Report (except for Grand Jury testimony) has been available to congressional leadership for some time. To date, only bthree people have read it - and all three were Republicans. The Democrats running this sideshow have not even bothered to turn a single page. Why is that? How can they possibly run committes or oversight if they have not even read the report?
They can't! And there is a reason they have not chosen to read it - they do not want to hear the truth. They have spent the last 30 months hating Trump and crying over the loss of 2016. They have already made up their minds that Trump colluded and obstructed, and they have no intention of letting facts deter them from their derangement.
They know that Mueller found no collusion, and failed to comment on obstruction. That is not what they wanted to hear, nor expected to hear. They were CERTAIN Bob Mueller would take down Trump. And now they are even angrier than they were before the report was presented.
And now they are angry with Mueller, who was expected to be their saviour, and AG Barr because those two failed to find proof that the derangement of the Democrats was well-founded. When Nadler, Schiff, Pelosi, Harris, Booker and Hirono are shown to be the clowns they are, looking foolish to the world, it is no wonder they are so angry. My Dad used to say it is better to let people think you a fool than to open your mouth and prove it.
When Congressional leaders like Nadler and Schiff, along with other hyper-partisans like Hirono, Swalwell, Harris and Booker do not even bother to read the report that was 2 years in the making, simply because it opposes what they have decided to believe, then perhaps those people should not be representing anyone, let alone We, the People.
They do not deserve to hold public office if they cannot even make a stab at being unbiased and objective, and make an effort to learn the facts.

Swalwell Wants Gun Owners In Prison
Eric Swalwell (D-CA) stated that he would ban all assault weapons and require those who own them to turn them in or they would be confiscated. He further stated that anyone who refused to comply would be put in prison.
Wow! Talk about a blatant disregard for the Constitution. Reminds one of Hitler who kept guns illegal for most people in order to prevent civil revolt against Nazi Germany and to secure the government's control over the nation.
But here is the real issue, since Swalwell doesn't have a chance of becoming president: either he is a complete idiot, or he believes we, the People are. Here's why...
Americans are not allowed to own fully automatic weapons, AKA "assault weapons", except with a special hard-to-get Class IV license from BATF. The "assault weapons" he and others on the left are talking about are nothing more than semi-auto hunting rifles designed to look - LOOK - like a military weapon. They do not FUNCTION as assault weapons.
So, either Swalwell is too dumb to know that, OR he thinks WE are too dumb to know that. In either case, it should disqualify him from holding ANY elective office.
A note to Mr Swalwell and his kind - you can put a VW engine into a Rolls Royce body, but that does not make it a Rolls. And you can design a deer rife to look like a military weapon, but that does not make it one.
And another note to Swalwell - if you or any politician ever succeeds in trying to confiscate guns in America, and imprison those who do not comply, you will find yourself on the losing end of another Civil War. And the Swalwell's will lose that war because most of the guns in America are owned by 130 million people who will NOT give them up.
Swalwell once declared he would not be opposed to "nuking" groups of gun owners. And he thinks GUN OWNERS are dangerous!

LGBTQ's Bogus Fight With Chick-Fil-A
It's no secret that the LGBTQ "community" continually protests Chick-Fil-A and anyone else who does not march in lockstep with their determination to have everyone accept their lifestyle choices. And the entire concept is bogus.
The LGBTQ community refuses to accept the fact that everyone has a RIGHT to their own beliefs, just as they, themselves, have the right to their own. And it is not enough for them to have society in general to accept their lifestyles - they have an unAmerican need to have everyone discard their own beliefs in favor of theirs. If a person's religion, for example, requires its followers to see these fringe lifestyles as a sin, the LGBTQ community requires them to give up their religion and its beliefs or else be bullied and shunned, or boycotted and protested in a vile way. And that is a violation of Constitutional - and human - rights.
The LGBTQ community needs to be called out for what they really are - intolerant bullies. They want us to accept THEIR beliefs, but refuse to accept the beliefs of others and are intent on making everyone conform to THEIR beliefs. That is fascist.
For some reason, many in the "militant" arm of the LGBTQ community (funded by socialists like George Soros) have a mental impairment that does not allow them to see that a person who does not accept their lifestyle is not attacking them - they are simply disagreeing with them. And as long as there are at least two people on this planet, there will always be disagreements. We must not allow one to destroy the other.
Most religious people who do not - cannot - accept the LGBTQ lifestyles do, indeed, RESPECT a person's right to be different, but do not personally accept the lifestyle(s). And that is what it should be about - RESPECT, not forced ACCEPTANCE.
The LGBTQ community should wake up and realize if they have to beat someone into acceptance, they will never have their respect, and the surest way to get people to hate, and not respect, is to bully them.
As Jesus said, we should hate the sin but love the sinner. If the LGBTQ community believes that by forcing and bullying people to accept their lifestyles will somehow make it no longer a sin, I have a newsflash for them - only GOD can wash away sin.
For the record, I do not believe that lifestyles based on sexual preference is a sin in God's eyes. He never claimed it to be a sin. What He did call it was "an abomination" which simply means "not natural". But being unnatural does not make it sinful. What IS sinful is using bully tactics to push your own personal agenda, no matter what agenda that might be.
